A short, honest version: who we are, what we are building, and where we have got to.
Velgo is not yet a licensed operator. Applications for the private-hire operator licences we need have not been submitted, and we are not carrying passengers. We publish each licence and its number here as it is granted.
Who we are
Velgo is the trading name of Zaytuna Business Services Ltd, a UK company building a school transport operation for SEND and private-hire journeys. We are pre-launch: the platform is built and our four apps are published, and the operator licences we need are the next thing we do. We are being deliberate about the order. An operator that gets its software right and its licensing wrong is not an operator, and neither is one that does it the other way round.
How we think about safety and privacy
The habits we care about are small and daily: put route information where the route needs it and nowhere else, keep conversations about a child in a place that leaves a record, and never let convenience turn into a workaround. That thinking is in the product — first names on screen, notifications without child details, counts-only council reporting, audited access to every child record. It is easier to hold a line when the software will not let you cross it.

Use the form on this site and tell us who you are and what you need. Families, schools, council teams and people who want to drive or assist all come through the same route for now, and all get a reply. We are not publishing personal contact details for individuals, and we would ask you not to send a child's information through a web form. When we are running, there will be a proper support route with people behind it.
